Hello from Charlie, Marie and Staff

Just a hello from up in Canada!                                                                        December 2011

Dear Fellow Sportsmen and Deer Hunters,

Our winter has continued to be the mildest temperature and the least snowfall on the ground. (approx. 2”) This feels like November on most years. We are confident it will help our deer survival rate greatly.

We acquired additional land this fall and we will be working hard on Whitetail Habitat Development as well as various improvements to our current properties.

We normally have a wet late summer and early fall that maximizes the plot growth, this year we had an extremely dry and hot summer & fall. The temperatures and drought impacted food plot production and wild berry crops, this in turn caused a lot of bear activity in our area as the bears from up north came looking for food.

We are moving the archery season back to one group only, starting Oct 21^st to eliminate any potential bear problem. The rifle season starts on Oct 29^th ends on Nov 15^th.

Cabela’s filmed a Whitetail Deer Hunt again this year with Mark Nelson taking a large, beautiful chocolate horned Monster Buck. The Cabela’s Ultimate Adventures show will air on the Outdoor Channel in the USA and on TV Wild in Canada. Show time TBA

We are announcing 4 Free Hunts for our 100^th anniversary of our grand parents coming to Canada in 1914.

We will draw 1 name for archery and 1 name for a rifle hunt in 2012 and 1 each in 2013. The draw will take place at camp during our hunting season, to qualify for the draw we need 50% deposit by  Feb 15 2012 for  the 1^st draw and Feb 15^th 2013 for the 2^nd draw.

We would like to remind all that are planning to hunt with us in 2012 to contact us and send in the deposits, by the Feb 15^th deadline this guarantees you your spot, and also qualifies you for the draw of a free hunt that will be filmed by:  TBA at a later date.
